The following is a list of trusted resources related to kidney research and renal health:

National Kidney Foundation – Very large, non-profit kidney health organization. Their primary objective is to prevent kidney disease as well as urinary tract diseases. The NKF has more than 50 offices across the United States.

American Kidney Fund – A prominent charity organization, the AKF collects donations that are used to directly assist patients with kidney problems. They also work to promote renal health education and kidney problem prevention.

National Kidney Foundation of Southern California – Similar to the NKF, the NKFSC works locally to promote kidney health.

Polycistic Kidney Disease Foundation – Organization dedicated to the research, treatment, and prevention of Polycistic Kidney Disease. The PKD foundation is a licensed public charity.

The Kidney and Urology Foundation of America – A nationwide, non-profit organization. The mission of the KUFA is to assist those with kidney and urologic diseases, especially those awaiting organ/tissue transplants.

National Kidney and Urologic Diseases Information Clearinghouse - Provided by the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), it is an informational dissemination service with a vast amount of information.
